In order to expand research and provide solutions in healthcare matters and according to the relevant statutes, the Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Research Center, which was originally called the Hearing Research Center, was established in 2013 and seeks to expand educational and research activities, the center succeeded in obtaining the approval in principle from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education in 2013.

  The activities of the center continued in the form of research projects and specialized services, and on 10/19/2016, with the permission of the Development Council of the Medical Sciences Universities of the country and the approval of the Honorable Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, the center's final approval was issued. Research activities in the form of approved projects, holding retraining courses, holding educational and research workshops and holding international congresses continue their activities.
